Life Transitions

empty? Have you recently moved to a new community? Ms Francis uses her life experience, in addition to her professional experience to assist clients navigate through these transitional life-changing events.
The COVID-19 pandemic has created enormous stress on relationships and family life. Let's focus on addressing and developing coping strategies for these and other mental health issues, such as heightened anxiety and depression.
Clinical Supervision for LCMHC Licensure
Ms. Francis has received additional training and professional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor which enables her to provide clinical supervision to new counselors who have earned their provisional LCMHC-A. She considers it an honor to be a part of the experiential learning that contributes to the professional development of those seeking to enter the field of professional counseling.
Distance Counseling
Marie Francis has achieved the Distance Certified Counselor credential. The Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) credential identifies those professional counselors who are uniquely trained in best practices for delivering traditional counseling through video-conferencing methods. DCCs have met nationally established distance counseling criteria and adhere to the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Code of Ethics and Policy Regarding the Provision of Distance Professional Services.
